When the tenant complaints and energy cost got out of hand at the Martinsburg, WV office, BB&T turned to Chesapeake Controls to perform a complete building analysis and from that created scope of work and budget. The resulting project included:

• Install new high efficiency hot water boilers
• Install VFD on the main VAV air handling unit
• Replace 3-way pneumatic hot water valves with new 2-way, electric
• Implement a variable hot water pumping system
• New chemical feed system
• Refurbishment of the cooling tower
• Install a new Honeywell web-based DDC control system with touchscreen interface and remote access via cellular modem
